Lewis Road Allotments

West Midlands Police (Police Community Support Officers) in partnership with Perryfields School have taken on two allotment plots at Lewis Road, Brandhall. In 2010 they worked hard with outreach workers from Ideal for All's Community Agriculture programme, and members of the local community including Paul and Barney's local church group. The school children grew vegetables and fruit, and took some of the produce back home. They continue to grow in 2011, and will be running a workshop in food growing with Ideal for All for the local community.
